An alynx is not a lynx

Just as an atheist is not a theist & an anarchist is not an archist (i.e. a statist, "un étatiste"), an alynx is not a lynx. Q.E.D.

The prefix "a(n)- " denotes negation in english as well as in many other languages. So as an alynx is in fact a "not-a-lynx"...

As an aside, here in the "canton de Vaud" in Switzerland a female & two of her kittens have just been poisoned. It's a very touchy subject here in the mountainside. Must have been one of those damned Uroxi cow-lovers who did it !?!
