Prax watering holes

    I have had this idea bouncing around for a year or more and a recent post brought it back.

    It would be very easy for a nomad khan or Sun County residents to bury large urns in dry beds with a lid that will allow moving water to spill in and fill the urn.

    Whenever a traveler passed by he could draw several gallons of water and reset the lid for the next rain. If these were camoflaged, they could provide emergency water for the people who knew.

    People in the comparable RW cultures knew how to capture rain off a roof, so this is not such a far stretch. Stancliff
