why Corflu? why Sartar?

One thing that people are missing on the Lunar expansion south is this. The Lunar Empire is huge, wide spread, and landlocked. Sure, there's the white sea. Hahaha. It doesn't do much good to putter around a giant icy sea without any surface passage to the big, wide world now does it? Kalikos has been working at the problem for ages and hasn't made a bit of difference. The only route to the sea, until the Sweet Sea opened up a few years ago, was south through Prax or Sartar. The Lunars have conquered Pavis and Corflu, giving them one route to the sea. However, it's difficult to get to Pavis from Glamour. It would be much easier to clear out Sartar and go down the Creek Stream River to the sea. This is the reason that the Lunars must conquer Sartar. As an empire, they need sea power to survive and thrive. Too bad for Sartar that it is in the way of the Lunar Destiny.

Cheers,
Loren
