Even when I read Nick's post I thought that cat piss would be more appropriate. (For some reason, I thought that Greg was a cat person, not a dog person.)
I think part of the problem with these changes is that they demote Nick, MOB, etc to "Newbie Mega-Theorist" status. (from http://www.btinternet.com/~Nick_Brooke/hate.htm ).
As a coincidence, I've been reading "Inside the Tornado" which contains:
"and we should note that there is no one more galled to be called a chimp than an ex-gorilla"
After all this time of RMM, etc. publishing with nothing coming out from Chaosium/AH, I think it might be similar to how the lunar nobles might feel after a long interregnum.
