This is, of course, oversimplified. There are very strong devotional aspects to, e.g., Hinduism -- it was a devotional sect that "sang the Buddhists out of India". And as has been acknowledged in this discussion, Judaism is much more concerned with "obey the Law" than with devotion -- with exceptions, of course. - --
