He could be:
- - expelled for indiscipline. This PC would spend his spare time
practicing his disciplines in an attempt to redeem himself.
- - Spied on the Master and learn how to do the Great Buddha Kick (or
somewhat) before he was ready. This PC could use the power but
would have some disadvantage in using it because he isn't _ready_.
- - a sole survivor of a Monastery that was trashed by Huan To, Vormain
Pirates, ShanShan Hsunchen or a rival monastic order. He may or may
not have the holy books telling of the life of his path's Founder
and must seek the Hidden Temple or vengeance against the people who
trashed his monastery before he can go any further. He could know
powers as per above
- - done well as a student but midway during his education, the Abbot
receives portents that tell him that the PC must learn wisdom from
Yao Fune, Mashunasan or the Blue Dragon of the Deep etc. Little
Student has Big Journey ahead of him which may or may not be filled
with cryptic situations full of mystical importance.
