Black Fang shamans

One possibility why they have shamans is that the Black Fang system of worship is rather odd

They worship a spirit who is tied to an unknown god (possibly a Trickster variant)

Perhaps they have to 'steal' their magic, since they are still a thief cult, and have to do this shamanically

Its simply part of their culture that they have to steal, and are not granted magic through normal channels

The shaman therefore will need to guide junior members through this stealing process

Steve Martin has written a load of Lanbril/Black Fang material for TT6 which may have its own views on the matter
