Neither KoDP nor the history of the Colymar seem to bear out tribal/clan exogamy, since this means that the clan would be forced into incestuous pairings for their early history. I suspect we must assume bloodline exogamy. Some tribes might practice exogamy, but they would have to have developed the custom sometime in the late 14th century when there were sufficient other tribes and clans. Jeff E
