Dunno any myths, so this is my rubbishy off the top of my head rational. - I reckon it can get pretty cold at night in Prax particularly in Winter. DE could be associated with extreme cases of these night chills >>
I kind of agree with that. Dark Eater = watch out for Bison skidding across the plains and bumping into High Llama.
I saw a documentary on animal swarms the other day and it strikes me that a locust swarm would be a pretty good incarnation of Dark Eater; eats everything, is a Darkness Creature, blots out the sun, etc I don't know when locust (or any other swarming critters) swarm but it occured to me that I have never heard mention of an insect plague in Prax but there really should be such things.
