But as I understand it, this is a) not so, as Abode will gleefully give^H^H^H^Hsell you software that lets you edit PDF, and b) not a good thing, anyway.

OTOH, it does make the occassional bit of proprietorial light relief from the quotidian .doc/Office tyranny.
