Not at all because while it works nicely as a game mechanic it isn't
particularily
informative but you're probably right that that's all I can expect.
Doesn't help real people get a feel for the climate though...
I probably replied a bit harshly to Dom Twist's weather e-mail. I'm certainly not contesting anything he said about the Highlands or how tough it would be to live there. Just my reading of the original post which may have been wrong.
