We're told in the HW Glorantha book that Perfecti 'use no magic'. I could accept that that mysticism (in the rules sense) wouldn't be considered magic by the Malkioni, so they may use that. Alternatively, its possible that they don't use any magic at all, although that seems less likely IMO.
