:I am still strongly of the opinion that the Lunars are a better
:disciplined force than the heortlings and that and that this gives them a
:battlefield advantage.

No doubt the Lunars are more disciplined. The strength of the storm is unpredictable and spontanious.

The discipline of the Lunars gives them an advantage if the battle goes according to their training. But the orlanthi are much more mobile and unpredictable (as enemies). I still say that the orlanthi try to break up the enemy formations, to fight the battle man to man in a wild melee. If they are forced to defend town or steads they form shieldwalls, and use skirmish troops, missile weapons and magic, but in this fight the advantage probably goes to the Lunars.

I'm not sure the Sartarite towns are that easy to take, btw. The heortlings build good defensive earthworks and know how to use them. Sartar built upon these, and added worked stone where it would do the most good.
