Regarding the question of Vinga worship by males; while it is impossible I
suspect the most likely situation where something similar would occur would
be where the head of the household worships her and there are male
dependents. They would presumably worship Vinga's brothers partly _as Vinga's
brothers_. Plus, Vinga defends children as well as women and children include
boys. A boy could thus have a peripheral role in a ritual situation. So while
a male wouldn't worship her in particular, her mythic role in the minds of
men and boys might depend on how important (or normative) she is to their
family.
