In a message dated 2/22/01 3:35:01PM, you write: Peter Metcalfe
<< For a start, the Hunters do not normally worship Yelmalio, as
"The cult of Yelmalio is a specialized cult of nobles and city  dwellers, though occasional Balazaring Hunters also join it to  gain the noble status implied by the religion." >>

Which they would not be able to do if it is Theist - they would already be animists.

<< Also if Yelmalio was ecstatically worshipped then outsiders would _not_
be able to worship at the temple. >>

I do not follow this logic. The temple is a holy place to the same being, perhaps connected to a false demesne, but holy nevertheless. *Even* if this means it has no direct connection to the Theist Yelmalio it would not stop Thiests worshipping there. If they were outsiders who were not Theistic Yelmalions what would they be doing there anyway?
