>Which is one of the problems trying to discuss this.

>The Vustri were the first Enerali group to become Orlanthi.

And the evidence for the lowland Enerali groups becoming Orlanthi?

>The Korioni king Maklaman Ironblade was the most important native
>ally of Arkat when he took his crusade beyond Tanisor.

There is nothing to suggest that he was the most important native ally and his deeds only survive in Humakti lore. Moreover since he was ostracized by his own people and that he also worshipped Humakt, this is not evidence that the Korioni are Orlanthi.

>The Seshnegi report this as Arkat's alliance with the hill barbarians.

What Seshnegi report would this be? The Seshnegi King's List does not mention "hill barbarians" in context with Arkat's apostasy.

>Arkat allied with Orlanthi who opposed the Bright Empire. Other
>than the distant and fairly shattered Vustri, who were these
>Orlanthi?

Harmast and his merry Heortlings perhaps?
