The Peaceful Passage lies entirely in the Sorcery Plane. There is a linkage from the peaceful passage to the False Node of Worlath but when one visits Worlath's node, one is _still_ in the God Plane.

There are no such thing as animist Orlanthi. If you worship Orlanth correctly, you are a theist, full stop. And if you are a misapplied worshipper of Orlanth, then the realm is _still_ in the God Plane.

Heort and many others didn't have to find another way but relied on themselves and their treasures instead.

Misapplied worship only yields results because even though the way of contacting the deity is _wrong_, there is still a deity at the other end. Now if there is no deity at the other end (because he's asleep, gone on holiday etc), then no matter what method you use, you won't get any result.
