Hi,

I'm trying to get a vague idea of the variety and distribution of "ruins" in the Sartar/Dragon Pass region. Most of the recent (post Dragonkill) buildings will be in wood except for large hillforts, some temple structures and other important high status buildings.
So I don't see many structures lasting too long after being abandoned.

But what of older pre-dragonkill buildings. Now most are not going to have survived 350+ years of decay/being knocked down by suspicious locals/having bits nicked for building with. Never mind the initial being stood on/toasted/eaten/whatever so I doubt there much left thats recognisable. (Except to a specialist Lhankor Mhy archiologist if such exists "From this series of small walls I deduce that here stood an early period Youf Newtskin Handbag Shoppe! Look here this tiny pebble is part of the rim of a cerimonial dragonbone teaset" But I digress...)

What I'm actualy fishing for stray thoughts on is what form EWF era buildings took and how widely they were distributed.

Were they more advanced builders in stone/brick/cement/other There are some indications (can't remember where) that EWF buildings are weird & draconic(?) but a 3 story redbrick house with a chimney is probably well weird by orlanthi standards. In fact it will look even weirder after it is half melted, twisted and blackened by Dragonflame. Joe O. won't know it wasn't meant to be like that.

How widly spread would EWF culture be? (thus where would remains be)
- - Thinly spread across top strata of society over the entire area.

How populus was the area (compared to current Sartar)

There is some description of EWF cities on the Creekstream River in (I think) KoS but I don't recall much else on the EWF

Right thats enough to be getting on with. Thoughts anyone?

Cheers,
Chris
