I think the Underworld (in the HW sense) is everything below (and including) "Lower Earth" and "Inner Depths".

I don't think Yelm follows that line considering his realm is much deeper. Instead I think that after he sets, he crawls on the surface of the land of the dead/darkness.

I think that following the example of Yelm, the underworld stars are actually on the ground.

Possibly the lands of Theyala, Sakum, Altinela and Luathela.

Damage created when Umath pushed apart the Sky and Earth. The Ocean bulged into the realm of Darkness and that bulged even further.
