One such sect occupy a barbaric northern island where it rains constantly and the sun is only a rumour they have heard from the inhabitants of other islands. In their version of the game you are not allowed to use the hands. But this is not the most disturbing factor, it's the 'away matches', where the inhabitants piant their faces white with a red death rune and descend on other islands to drink all their beer and start a battle (and possibly have a football game). Their deities are all football releated, though neighbouring nations point out that this lot have difficulty distinguishing football and war and their mightiest deity 'BawbeSharltung' is probably an avatar of Shargash.
