The problem is how many such rules would need added? Attachments/MIME posts are a bad idea on most mailing lists. Some people make the mistake once, get politely corrected (thanks Roderick!) and never do it again. After a week or two, no one even remembers. My own feeling is that a list of rules covering all possible problems is perhaps over kill.
