The Twin Stars are planets worshipped by Lunars and the Sable Riders. No other beast rider worships them AFAIK. Their names are Erelia (Eloquence with Barbarians) and Verelia (Deadly distraction in crisis).

They were prominent in saving the Glamour from destruction at Jannisor's hand. Verelia fought Jannisor and distracted him by pointing out that Erelia was busy converting the Sables. This distraction was long enough for Verelia to slip a blade into Jannisor. Full details are in Wyrms Footprints "Red Moon in Prax" p8-10.

Now it's not known when they first appeared, but they were visible during the Sunstop (Wyrms Footprints p30).

So the twins really have two powers: one to distract people and the other to entrance people. I suppose a case could be made for the powers to be based on the lunar cycle. Since they are worshipped by the Sables, I would treat them as spirits.
