Just found a fourth, external, definition, that of Glorantha:Intro (p?) by which High Gods are "in contact with the higher ideals and spiritual powers" (tr?), basically in connection with the Upper World (transcendence?). A couple of well-known great gods (Orlanth, Ernalda, Yelm) are quoted as being so, and it's added that different high gods can share the same mainstream Ultimate Secrets.

The High Gods of Pelanda probably know about Ultimate Secrets, since Jernotius illuminated them (such would be Liberation, Power, Virtue, etc.). As for the High Gods of Vithela, i'd be surprised if they didn't correspond to that definition too. And, of course, Donandar knows the transcendental secrets of music, which is almost as good as Life and Death.

I can see a fault, though: the definition has little to do with what in my post i implicitly assumed was a high god (notably all great gods are high gods per that definition).
