Yes, the Lotari hsunchen of Ralios are unrelated to the theist worshippers of the racoon god in Vanch. AFAIK, the Vanchites have never been hsunchen. Its probable that there were hsunchen in Peloria in ages past (although probably not racoon hsunchen, IMO) since many of the wild creatures of Peloria are believed to have a spirit origin, but these people seem to have been pushed to the fringes at best, and exterminated at worst.
