If one takes ES literally, and assumes line of sight effects as per the RW, one would be able to see Kero Fin about 395km off, and Top of the World about 509km. In both cases this would be increased significantly if the viewer is any distance above intervening ground level. (e.g. if one has a tower for that very purpose, or locates one's own local holy site on a hill (what are the chances, eh?).)
