I'm not sure that's the meaning of the myth -- it's certainly acknowledging that authority should or must exist, not necessarily that they, women, should be on the short end of it (though that's the upshot, granted). Besides, for a Heortling "Good Wife" would mean something _very_ different. ;-)

This idea I like. It has the merit of being consistent with "earthly" sovereignty magic (though simultaneously undermining same).
