I think you are missing the point he is trying to make. Having information kept secret is very irritating, especially when people come off with the attitude "Only we are allowed to know this. The rest of you just have to wait". I'm sorry, but this is very poor public policy. All it will serve to do is alienate newcomers to the game. There are plenty of other settings and companies out there who will gladly take the money that would be spent on Issaries' products. Many people who happen to see posts like the ones I copied just tend to get pissed off and might think, "Well, screw them. I'll play D&D".
