The same nonsense came up at the first run of HtWW1. Incredible.

Why should the peasants be excluded from risiking their souls for the faith when nobles face moral degradation, soldiers physical as well as metaphysical wounds and wizards wagering their entire essence? How can we forbid peasants to donate part of their life force for the good of the church voluntarily?

For this very reason, the Castle Coast Hrestoli abstained from voting for any of those ridiculous regiments, back then. Too bad if the committees don't take on sensible clergy and the large churches are afraid of taking a moral stance, even making a common cause...
