Alternate Rules to explore Glorantha...

Has anyone used DragonQuest (the old SPI game) as game rules for Gloranthan adventures? If so, do you have any notes/materials you would care to share? A reply off-list would be most appropriate I suppose (to vhaag at rim dot net).
