My copy of the Horned God, pt1 says:> "Slaine: 'Slaunyeh' (atlhough there is another Irish prounciation, 'Slain')"

Just so I am vaugely on topic: Although it is difficult to use directly. Slaine does have some good inspiration for Orlanthi games in the better stories, drawing as it does on Celtic Myth.
