Pharaoh constructed a special road. Its center was in the Wonder Transfer, where the road passed from beneath the waters to above. This magical road is commonly called the Fish Road. Above water, it went by the Marine Ferry Line to Pedastal, to Pennel, Necropolis (the living part), to Vatarapa (across the river from Mygalos, and then five branches went out from there for a distance of about ten miles, then stopped. Underwater, it went to Dezen (or Deep), and from there branches went to (underwater) Seapolis and Ssemenzen ("Deeper"), and from there to Vostmostezerfarshoorp, where sometimes lives Rozgali, the ruler of the seas; his tribe of tritons and other aquatic beings.
Wonder Transfer is a city of humans and merfolk. Like all of the City of
Wonders it is largely abandoned. Workers are not present now to work the
transformation chambers now, so no one travels the roads.
When working, the chambers allowed underwater beings to travel onto the
land as long as they remained on the Fish Road. Thus a century ago it was
not unusual to see a merman swimming through the air, as if it was water,
alongside wagons creaking to market. Likewise, parties of humans were
sometimes seen walking along the bottom of the bay as if it was dry land
while creatures swam back and forth around them.
Deeper is a Naiad place. Only natural features are used as architecture,
and then only to all the Mirrorsea ludoch to find it easily. It has coral
caves and grottos of great beauty, and representatives of all the local sea
life. The ludoch primarily visit here. Long term visits are eased by the
Air Caves (a gift from Diendimos), and in times of worship are augmented by
large kelp bubble nets.
Deeper is important because it is the main worship center for the large
Choralinthor ludoch tribe, and many other aquatic beings. It has the only
temples to Rozgali and Sedlazam (indeed is the Entry to Sedlazam), and to
Mirintha and Phargon.
Deeper is still in the Upper Ocean, note. It's not made for ludoch, a rather lost race of intelligent beings; but instead for the other triolini who never go above water, except to die in misery, cut off from the Deep.
