I still have a copy but the main problem it's been gregged as I wrote it on the grounds that the Fonritans were animist.

So Revealed Mythologies says. I have myself have deep misgivings about what it says happened (in that it makes Garangordos worse than the God Learners). Instead I view the ancestors of the Fonritans as having been theists since the Green Age whereupon they split from the Agi and lived beyond the Fensi mountains near the Mountain of Bandaku.

Driven from their homeland during the Gods War, they survived in the forests of Laskal as the _Ia Rawthri_ (fort people). Garangordos becomes IMO the great hero that returned them to their home.

I think it's a mixture of all three.

So do the Lunars.

My theory about him derives from the fact that Vovisibor was strangled on the ruins of Bandaku in Revealed Mythologies. Since this was done by Pamalt and his necklace, I interpret Darleester the Noose as being the Fonritan version of the Necklace. Hence Darleester is an enforcer of cosmic order and the Jann is his shadow on earth.

It's valid. There are a couple of recensions of the IoF floating about (there's another version in Missing Lands), each of which has some information and leaves other stuff out. The Two Brothers are Humakt and Zorak Zoran except that the locals know them by a different name (and deny any relationship between them and Humakt & Zorak Zoran).

It depends largely on the city. The largest Malkioni Church is in Ebbeshal and Martin Hawley did a writeup of it for the Four Scrolls of Revelation. They however are depraved weirdoes, unlike other Malkioni.

I do believe there are normal Malkioni within Fonrit. Most of them will live over in the west within Afadjann but even in the east, there are scattered communities of Malkioni. One major centre is Goan because that was the God-Learner gateway into the Pamaltelan Interior. The Malkioni probably are split between monotheists and henotheists. During the closing, the henotheists were stranger but now the pendulum has favoured by the montheists due to the contact with Loskalm and Seshnela. Gods of Glorantha does talk about communities of Brithini but I think Vadeli are meant. The Vadeli would be visible in Afadjann but virtually absent in Kareeshtu because of recent events.

IMO the Malkioni are prominent in Fonrit because they are the best source of mounted warriors. Everybody else has traditions of fighting on foot or using elephants (actually shoveltuskers) but only the Malkioni are good at riding horses.
