Though I can't read ILH until next month (so I voluntarily asked Ingo) and don't have access to Greg's all unfinished Greya' (who helped Hon's reconstruction of Raibanth) s story....

Raibanth was divided into two since the reign of Murharzarm, IIRC....? (See Initiate available archive for ILH-1)

I suppose old and dim mean west side, new and bright mean east as my supposition about Raibanth (but without any Greg's agreement).
