You're probably not thinking of the "inverted pyramids" up in the Kingdom of Ignorance (or I think parts of the Lunar Empire)...
I think the Yranian Leapers (in Fonrit and Umathela) may have built steep-sided structures resembling Mayan pyramids. I don't actually know of others.
