I think the changes are mainly that

The dream mythology is not the universal thing for all the East Isles that we once ennvisioned, but a local/ regional variation.
The tie-in with Genertelan myths, death of the sun, great darkness etc. was plain wrong.

But, as can be read in Revealed Mythologies, the dream mythology fits quite well within the greater Vithelan cosmology. It is just that the Nightmare corresponds to the Vithelan Avanapdur War rather than the Genertelan Greater Darkness. Exchange Tyram and Xamalk in our old writings for Akorgat and Bodastu and it works just fine.

Not quite sure what you are saying here. I do want to go home as I'm at work right now, but I don't think that's what you meant :-)

Sure, when I learned that I had worked from incorrect assumptions I thought "damn, gregged again", but in the end what we know about Vithela now is bigger and better, so in the end I'm happy about the changes.
