You receive this newsletter as a member of the GTA. Each of you can now=20 manage how you receive GTA messages. Set a password, enter the email=20 address you use for GTA mailings, and set or reset your mailing preferences=
=20

at <http://www.rpglist.org/mailman/listinfo/gta-observer>. To change your=20 email address, unsubscribe from the list and then re-subscribe using the=20 new address. Initiates, runemasters, and heroes must send a confirming=20 e-mail to <gta_at_glorantha.com> with your actual name, so that Issaries can=20 verify the change. GTA Observers do NOT need to notify us, as no=20 verification is needed.

For a walkthrough and more details, see=20 <http://www.HeroQuest-rpg.com/gta/manage_email.html>. On becoming a GTA=20 member, see <www.HeroQuest-rpg.com/gta>.

THREE CONTESTS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
For all contests, please remember to include your name and physical mailing=
=20

address, so that we know who you are and can send you your prize if you=20 win! Also, if you have other correspondence for the GTA or Issaries, please=
=20

send it in a separate message to help avoid any confusion. Winners of all=20 contests will be announced in the next GTA newsletter.

Observers Only: Cult Compendium and HeroQuest The winners of the last GTA Observers drawing were Andrew White and Hans=20 Torstensson. They each receive a copy of Gloranthan Classics: Cult=20 Compendium. Stephen Martin apologizes profusely for the many things that=20 prevented him from sending them their prizes in a timely manner.

If you know someone who would like to keep up on all happenings Gloranthan,=
=20

and maybe score a free prize sometime, have them contact us at=20 <gta_at_glorantha.com> so that we can add them to the list of Observers. Or=20 just send them to <http://www.rpglist.org/mailman/listinfo/gta-observer> to=
=20

add themselves!

As usual, the next drawing starts immediately. Once again, Issaries is=20 donating two copies of a book. And this time it is HEROQUEST itself!=20 Twenty-seven years in the making, this is one contest you don't want to=20 miss out on. On October 15th, Issaries will select two non-paid GTA=20 observers at random from the entrees to receive a copy of HeroQuest.

To be eligible for this drawing, we must receive an email message from you=
=20

by midnight PDT on Friday, October 10th to <contest_at_glorantha.com> with=20 "Observer Contest" in the subject line.

Something for Everyone: Heroforming
Now that HeroQuest is out, and a cohort of players new to Glorantha is=20 beginning to explore the world and the game, Issaries would like to expand=
=20

on the range of pre-generated heroes already available on the website (for=
=20

which particular thanks must go to Peter Nordstrand and Dave Camoirano).=20 So, they are holding a competition for everyone for more sample characters,=
=20

with the prize being a copy of the forthcoming Hero's Book and the chance=20 to see your character(s) appear in future works and on the website.

What Issaries wants to see are interesting heroes created using either the=
=20

list method or the narrative method. They must be created using the basic=20 keywords in HeroQuest only (although you can create your choice of=20 interesting common magic), and using the standard rules.

The hero must be new, not updated from Hero Wars or previously seen on a=20 website or in an independent publication. It may be a conversion of a=20 character previously written up for another rules system, but only if the=20 entrant also created the original. Issaries is looking for original,=20 starting heroes -- please do not submit any famous Gloranthan heroes, even=
=20

'Harrek, aged 5'!

Send each character you would like to submit in a separate email to=20 <contest_at_glorantha.com>, with "Heroforming Contest" in the subject line.=20 Each entry should include the hero's:

  1. Name, Goals, and Description
  2. Narrative (~100 words) or List (10 abilities, + any flaws)
  3. Homeland, Occupation, and Magic Keywords
  4. Full list of abilities with ratings, grouped by keyword in the following=
    =20
order: Skills, Personality, Relationships, Followers, Magic, Possessions &=
    =20
    Wealth

DO spend the full 20 points allotted to you during character creation.=20 Remember to spend 3 of these points if you want to be a devotee, and=20 remember to state that the hero's magic is concentrated if this is in fact=
=20

the case. Please do NOT include a full character sheet, although Issaries=20 may ask entrants to complete one later.

Each entry must include your name, postal address, and email address. You=20 may enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must be sent in a=20 separate plain text email, with no formatting. If you submit multiple=20 entries, please make sure that you send them separately and that you number=
=20

them 1 of X, 2 of X, etc.

All submissions become the property of Issaries, Inc. By submitting an=20 entry, you are attesting to the fact that this is an original entry of=20 yours and agreeing that Issaries, Inc. may freely post it on its website or=
=20

otherwise use it as it sees fit. If you hero is used, you will be given=20 full credit, although the use of a single hero in a published book is not=20 enough to merit a free contributor's copy.

The deadline for entries is midnight PDT on Wednesday, October 15th. The=20 winner will receive a copy of Hero's Book, and Issaries reserves the right=
=20

to award this prize to multiple submissions.

Something for Nothing: HeroQuest Hardcovers On the subject of HeroQuest, many of you may not know that most printers=20 routinely overrun their jobs -- if you order 200 copies of a book, even a=20 book as unique as the limited hardcover edition of HeroQuest, your=20 agreement with them means that they can actually print up to 10% more=20 copies. In the case of the limited edition, rather than just randomly=20 putting runes on the extra copies they sent Issaries, they printed them=20 without any rune at all.

Rather than selling these books at a discount from the runic versions,=20 Issaries plans to use them as prizes and give-aways. Starting now. Issaries=
=20

will give one "blank" hardcover each to a single GTA initiate, runemaster,=
=20

and hero (only). To enter, send an email to <contest_at_glorantha.com> by=20 midnight PDT on Friday, October 31, 2003 with "Initiate Hardcover",=20 "Runemaster Hardcover", or "Hero Hardcover" in the subject line as=20 appropriate to your membership level. Entries must come from your official=
=20

GTA email address, and are subject to verification of membership. As with=20 similar contests, if you wish to join the GTA and then enter the contest,=20 you may do so.

PROJECT COORDINATORS UPDATE
As announced previously, Issaries has a staff of people in charge of=20 various projects for HeroQuest. These Project Managers are the acquisition=
=20

editors for their areas, and they will either write the entire book(s) or=20 will coordinate contributing authors. Issaries will work with these editors=
=20

(either directly or through the Acquisitions Editor) as necessary.

Anyone interested in contributing to these projects/areas should contact=20 these editors directly. They will compile and edit material, then submit it=
=20

to Issaries. Issaries, Inc. naturally reserves the right to reject the=20 submission or ask for revisions, and of course to edit the material before=
=20

publication, but they ask that people interested in writing for or in these=
=20

areas contact the project managers directly.

LOOKING FOR OLD ARTISTS
A request for help from Stephen Martin

Some of you may have noticed the "classic" artwork that appeared in=20 HeroQuest, and you will see even more in HeroQuest Voices. Although some of=
=20

the artwork in HeroQuest was reused, there were also two "new" pieces that,=
=20

although never published before, were actually drawn 20 years ago by Paul=20 Jaquays!

Although part of the incentive for us to use some of this old artwork in=20 new books is financial, there are also some darn good pieces of artwork=20 that have never been published, or at least were never published=20 professionally. We hope to continue this trend, and have identified dozens=
=20

of unpublished or extremely ancient pictures from Wyrms Footnotes and other=
=20

sources for use in upcoming books, beginning with Dragon Pass. We have=20 gained permission from Mike Mignola (of Hellboy fame) to use some of his=20 old pieces, for example, and we own much of the Tom Sullivan artwork from=20 the RQ3 era.

However, there are some excellent pieces that we would like to use, but=20 can't, until and unless we can find the artists. Anyone who can help locate=
=20

David Dudley, Jeff Brain, Tom Clark, Steve Oliff, or an artist known to us=
=20

only as "Denzenbacher" would be doing us a big favor by contacting us at=20 <acquisitions_at_glorantha.com>.

READ ANY GOOD BIBLIOGRAPHIES LATELY?
One of the sections of HeroQuest that Greg and Stephen were very adamant on=
=20

including was a list of books that players and narrators alike could use=20 for inspiration. Although the bibliography in HeroQuest is very good, there=
=20

were several items that had to be cut, and I know that there are a lot of=20 useful books out there, about heroquesting, Orlanthi, Lunars, and playing=20 games.

If there are other books, movies, TV shows, non-Gloranthan web sites, or=20 other sources of inspiration that you have used to enrich your game and=20 gaming, let Issaries know! You can send any and all suggestions to=20 <bibliography_at_glorantha.com> with "Online Bibliography" in the subject=20 line. Once Stephen gets enough suggestions (and has a little extra time),=20 he will periodically update the bibliography online. I would like to see=20 specific sections for topics such as Heroquesting, Heortlings, Trolls, and=
=20

many more, so let Issaries know your specific recommendations in your email.

THE LATEST ON CONVENTIONS U-Con 2003
Michael Schwartz will be running "A Shadow Over Taral" twice at U-Con 2003,=
=20

which is being held November 14th through 16th in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Surf=
=20

to <http://www.ucon-gaming.org> for more information.

In "A Shadow Over Taral", young clanfolk are forced to cope with mysterious=
=20

and frightening happenings while the elders are away meeting with tribal=20 leaders. Might bad magic be the source, or are clan enemies to blame? An=20 introduction to HeroQuest and Greg Stafford's fabulous world of Glorantha!

Michael also writes: "If I receive enough advance notice of intent to=20 attend, I'd also run several of my Lonisisaga scenarios for Glorantha=20 veterans as well. I'd love to get an annual Glorantha Track going at the=20 con as well. It should be able to compete with the Tekumel Track, I hope,=20 in terms of the number of players it can draw (20-30) each year."

Events at Origins
Origins is a "scant" nine months away (June 24-27, 2004), and SJG and=20 Issaries are looking to have a strong HeroQuest and Gloranthan presence=20 next year. If you have an event you'd like to run, contact Origins as soon=
=20

as possible <http://www.originsgames.com/>. Submit your event online, or=20 download an event form and mail or fax it in. Once your event is scheduled=
=20

and placed you will receive an event confirmation letter; you should then=20 notify Issaries at <events_at_glorantha.com> so they can put the announcement=
=20

on their own Conventions and Events page at=20 <http://www.HeroQuest-rpg.com/tribes/events.html>.

GenCon SoCal
Roderick Robertson will run two sessions of "Emperor Khordavu's Mines" at=20 the first GenCon SoCal, which runs from December 11-14 in Anaheim,=20 California. Your association has discovered the location of the lost mines=
=20

of Emperor Khordavu. Unfortunately, they are to be found in the land of=20 Dragon Pass, only recently re-opened to humans after nearly 250 years of=20 inhuman occupation. A previous expedition to find them never returned. Set=
=20

at the end of the Second Lunar Wane, a game of Exploration and Adventure in=
=20

Glorantha, in the tone of H. Rider Haggard and Edgar Rice Burroughs.

Roderick will also present a seminar on "HeroQuest in Ten Minutes". In this=
=20

seminar, Roderick will take participants through a rundown of the HeroQuest=
=20

rules, then will take suggestions from the audience on how to apply these=20 rules to classic fantasy situations.

Convention Reports
Issaries has several new convention reports up on the web site, including a=
=20

Tentacles report from Greg at=20
<http://www.glorantha.com/tribes/tentacles2003.html>, a Gloranthacon report=
=20

from Jeff Kyer at <http://www.glorantha.com/tribes/gloranthacon2003.html>,=
=20

a Battlemasters report from Newt at=20
<http://www.glorantha.com/tribes/battlemasters2003.html>, and a Scotscon=20 report from Nick Davison at=20
<http://www.glorantha.com/tribes/scotscon2003.html>.

SHORT TAKES
The first HeroQuest magazine article I've seen was in the August 29, 2003=20 version of Pyramid, the online roleplaying 'zine from Steve Jackson Games.=
=20

Jamie "Trotsky" Revell wrote about Caladraland, land of fire in the Holy=20 Country. He supplies us with keywords for HeroQuest, descriptions, and=20 GURPs info too. Kudos, Jamie.

Nominations for the Best of Glorantha 2003 will close just after the end of=
=20

the year, so take those good ideas and realize them in time. How about a=20 HeroQuest Glorantha 2004 calendar?

Are you getting daily Glorantha tidbits in your email? If not, check out=20 Lokarnos and its wonders at <http://lokarnos.com/start.shtml>, or link to=20 it from the main Glorantha page. Truly great reminders of all the online=20 material in internet archives across the worlds of Glorantha.

And if you like useful gaming email, check out John Four's [generic]=20 Roleplaying Tips Weekly E-Zine at <http://www.roleplayingtips.com>. Various=
=20

ideas, and lots of plot bits.

Mark Galeotti's seminal and inspiring essay from Moon Rites, "Crime and=20 Punishment In the Empire", is now available for download, printing, and=20 your reading pleasure. It first appeared in Moon Rites, the January 2003=20 fundraiser for Gloranthacon VIII. The layout of the original essay was=20 marred somewhat by minor printer's error, so we are pleased to make it=20 available in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format from both the Glorantha website=20 <http://www.HeroQuest-rpg.com/tribes/LawInTheEmpire.pdf> and from the files=
=20

area of the HeroQuest-rpg Digest at=20
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HeroQuest-RPG/files/>. The file is 3.8 Meg=20 in size.

Also from Mark Galeotti will soon come several Pyramid articles that will=20 at last reveal some of the mysteries of Kralorela. Forthcoming articles=20 include the Homeland: Kralorela cut from HeroQuest due to space=20 constraints, Navies of Kralorela, and The Two-Times Unfortunate=20 Encyclopedists of Barbaric Deviltry, a hero band originally written for=20 Masters of Luck and Death but also cut.

THUNDER BROTHERS
A call to heroes, writers, artists, map makers, shapers, and skalds from=20 John Hughes.

The sacred hills are silent. The air is still.
Our enemies jeer and proclaim the death of our god.
They grow ever more greedy for our remaining cattle and silver.
This endless winter may be the death of our entire clan.
What can sustain us in this desperate time?

The Thunder Brothers project will explore Heortling resistance and survival=
=20

in Sartar and its environs in the period of 1619-1625, between the siege of=
=20

Whitewall and Dragonrise. The project's goal is to produce a book that=20 builds on the 'look and feel' of Moon Rites. This book (whose final title=20 will be determined collectively by the contributors) is intended as a=20 fundraiser for Gloranthacon VIII and to help seed future Gloranthan=20 conventions.

The Thunder Brothers project is seeking stead, clan, and tribal background=
=20

that will prove useful to others in ongoing campaigns; mid-level scenarios=
=20

that focus on clan survival and heroic resistance under the Lunar=20 occupation, especially during and after Fimbulwinter; myths and heroquests=
=20

of survival in the Greater Darkness; chronicles of clan survival; stories=20 of heroic Heortling adventure in Sartar, Prax, Heortland, and beyond;=20 praise poems of heroes and rebels; art that chronicles the story of the=20 clans and the heroes who helped them survive, perhaps in gallery format as=
=20

a focus in its own right; and descriptions of NPCs of power and depth, who=
=20

have their own stories and agendas.

If you'd like to discuss a possible submission, or would like further=20 information, please contact me at <john.hughes_at_anu.edu.au>.

QUICK PLUGS
The Ring of HeroQuest Narrators is a newly-formed confederation primarily=20 dedicated to increasing the tribe of Glorantha fans and spreading the word=
=20

about just how good a game Heroquest is. They demonstrate the game to new=20 players as members of Steve Jackson's MIB program, and also want to help=20 narrators, new and old, to design Heroquest adventures in the world of=20 Gloranth. Already this year they have run demonstration games at Gencon UK,=
=20

Beer and Pretzels, Conjuration, Tentacles, and Battlemasters. Mick Rowe and=
=20

Newt Newport, two of the founding members, are seeking other like-minded=20 people to them us in their quest to bring Heroquest to the masses. So if=20 you fancy helping Heroquest by demoing Heroquest or writing demo=20 adventures, or if you know of an event that needs someone to run HeroQuest,=
=20

contact them via their website at <www.rhqn.com>, which has a forum and=20 some resources (the pre-gen characters used for demo games + some articles=
=20

about their experiences running HQ). More content will be added in the=20 coming weeks.

Paper Wars now supplies cardboard miniatures for Glorantha. "Dragon Pass at=
=20

War" offers hoplites, fyrdmen, broos, magicians, monsters, cattle, and=20 heroes. See <http://www.celtic-webs.com/theunspokenword/ph/ph.html> Amazing=
=20

what you can do with those little artworks: they made wonderful scrip for=20 the LARP at GloranthaCon.

The Unspoken Word also has a snappy set of hardcopy Glorantha maps,=20 individually or in a set of six: Simon Bray's Heortland, covering the lands=
=20

of the Esvulari and Volsaxiland; Wesley Quadros' Tarsh, from the back of=20 Tarsh in Flames; Wesley Quadros' Imther, with an inset map of clan=20 locations, after Harald Smith's originals; Darran Sims' Dagori Inkarth, an=
=20

expanded version of the map on the back of Uz; John Hughes' Pavis County;=20 and Marian Gutowski's Esrolia, with emendations. For more see,=20 <http://www.celtic-webs.com/theunspokenword/maps/maps.html>. Could a color=
=20

version of the map from Stephen Martin's Drastic: Prax be in the works?

TradeTalk 12 is out. It contains Simon Phipp's "Blue Dawn", Michael Cule's=
=20

"Story of Aye and Bee", Brian Pinch's "PussPuss the Scapecat", a Eurmali=20 story, Pete McAveney's "Whiteteeth", Ian Thompson's "Leondardo's Machines",=
=20

Galeotti & Stafford's "The Esvulari - The Aeolings", Simon Bray's "Caldvale=
=20

Manor", Trotsky's "House of Black Arkat" and Stefan Drawert's "The Dark=20 Doom" (hero bands), Gian Gero's "Dry Hard" scenario, and Shannon=20 Applecline's "Aldryami Legends of Creation" and (for Pendragon) "Villains=20 of Logres". More at <http://www.Tradetalk.de>.

Olli Kantola, of the Finnish Gloranthan association Kalikos Society, has=20 released a sampler of The Zin Letters, their electronic magazine=20 <http://zin.kalikos.org/Zin_letters_sample.pdf>. The complete=20 English-language magazine is available through TradeTalk, and includes=20 Matti J=E4rvinen's "Teshnos - Land of Fire", Juha Ratilainen's "Genealogy of=
=20

the Storm Tribe", Samppa M=E4kel=E4's "Stoat Clan" description, two Orlanthi=
=20

adventures by Juha Ratilainen and Olli Kantola, and detail on "Mineral=20 Broos" by Marko Saari, Perttu M=E4kinen, Eetu M=E4kel=E4, and Sampo=  Koistinen.

Moon Design Publications is working on finishing the fourth volume of the=20 Gloranthan Classics series, to be published for Christmas 2003. This last=20 compendium will contain the crown jewel of Runequest 2 campaign packs -=20 Borderlands. To round out the book, Plunder and Runemasters are also=20 included in their entireties. Extra Plunder items from Rudy Kraft and=20 several player characters from the Chaosium house campaigns are also=20 slotted in the back. The book will be in the same theme and format as the=20 first three volumes. Any artists who would like to submit art for the book=
=20

are encouraged to contact Rick Meints at <RJMeints_at_aol.com>.

GLORANTHA IN MINIATURES
An Update from Miniatures Coordinator Roderick Robertson

Back when I was working at Intel, on of the "corporate values" beaten into=
=20

our heads was that if you saw a problem, you owned it. Well, I saw a=20 problem with the new Gloranthan Miniatures being produced by Lance & Laser,=
=20

and so in good "corporate citizen" fashion I brought to Greg my concerns=20 that the some of the figures were not that useful for gaming; after all, do=
=20

we really need two Jack o=92Bears? Or four merfolk? Or a gobbler? Or the=20 Frog-shark-demon that doesn=92t seem to exist in Glorantha? Then there is=20 problem of equipment for figures -- the Yanafal Tarnils figure had a=20 straight sword!

So, Greg appointed me Miniatures Coordinator and liaison between Issaries=20 and Lance & Laser. My duties are to come up with lists of figure=20 suggestions for the sculptors, and to review and make suggestions to=20 Issaries about Lance & Laser figures as early in the process as we can get=
=20

photos or sketches, in order to catch problems before the final casting=20 stage. (One consequence of my new duties is that I won=92t be reviewing the=
=20

L&L figures any more -- conflict of interest, don=92t you know. But I can=20 still paint and display them at <http://www.sierratel.com/rjremr/LoA/>!)

At Gencon, Lance & Laser released Minyrath Purple (a nice rendition of=20 Heather Bruton's illustration from Orlanth is Dead!), King Broyan, an Ibex=
=20

Moon follower (hubba hubba), an ooky Disease Spirit, and a lot of very=20 nice Broos (4 packs of 3 broos each, plus two individual hero-type broos)=20 and baboons (a pack of 3, plus an individual shaman). Unfortunately, the=20 L&L website doesn=92t reflect any of the Gloranthan figures yet, but they=20 hope to update their site soon. Hopefully these figures will be available=20 online soon.

The next release they are working on are figures based on the homelands=20 from HeroQuest -- males and females, civilians and warriors. They are=20 working from the illustrations in that book, HeroQuest Voices, and Hero's=20 Book, as well as my own knowledge of historical costumery.

We have set up <minis_at_glorantha.com> as the email address for suggestions=20 for new figures. Our plan is ultimately to release figures in conjunction=20 with book releases, so that you=92ll be able to buy the figures soon after=
=20

the book detailing them is released. To do that, we=92re going to have to=20 skip over some books (The Sartar Rising series, frex) until we catch up.=20 There will still be some 'sideline' figures coming out, as the sculptors=20 sometimes get an inspiration and sculpt something not on the list (such as=
=20

the aforementioned Frog-shark-demon, or the "Lunar Court" boxed set L&L=20 would like to do based on the illustration on page 101 of Glorantha) So if=
=20

something catches your imagination, send me a message and we=92ll see what=  we=20
can do.

Glorantha Classic Miniatures, Set 3
An update by Johnny Lauck

Archive miniatures released the FIRST figures for Glorantha back in 1976.=20
In 2001, Dark Ages Miniatures purchased the original molds and production=20
rights and has begun producing recastings of the original figures offered=20
in a lead-free tin alloy. The third set is now available for release. It is=
=20

the last major set; like the first two, it will be avaulable until December=
=20

31st 2003, and then will be discontinued, the molds destroyed.

SET 3 contains a total of 7 primary figures plus 3 steeds, and retails for=
=20

$22.50. The figures can be purchased individually as well:

GLO-021	Dragonewt	$2.50
GLO-022	Wind Child	$2.50
GLO-023	Tusk Rider and Tusker	$5.00
GLO-024	Two-Headed Dragonsnail	$6.00
GLO-025	Dragonewt on Demi-Bird	$5.00
GLO-026	Pavis Survivor & War Zebra	$5.00
GLO-027	Morning Star	$2.50

Images of the figures are available at=20 <http://www.dragglestown.com/Merchant2/images/GLO/GLO-SET3.JPG>.

The first two sets are still available as well:

Set 1 $32.50 (+$8.00 shipping worldwide) 10 figures + FREE Master of Fire=20 figure.
Set 2 $46.00 (+$8.00 shipping worldwide) 10 figures.

Furthermore, if you buy all three sets together, the cost of $100 includes=
=20

shipping worldwide, and includes all 28 figures.

For added convenience, <www.discounthobby.com> has just upgraded their=20 site, and customers can now use PAYPAL as a payment option directly in the=
=20

shopping cart feature. (Dragglestown.com will be similaly upgraded next=  month.)

A PARTNERSHIP: ISSARIES AND WAREHOUSE 23 For those who don't know, Warehouse.com is Steve Jackson Games' online=20 retail gaming store. In addition to carrying all of Steve Jackson Games'=20 games, they are the official online store for Issaries and HeroQuest, and=20 they carry a wide selection of other games. They are now offering Greg=20 Stafford's Pre-Finished Works as well. Although we feel it is always best=20 for Issaries and the gaming industry in general if you buy games at your=20 local retailer, if you can't, Warehouse 23 is THE place to get what you=  need!

There have been a few problems with Warehouse 23 orders, we think mostly=20 because some of you are used to the way Wizards Attic did things. With a=20 new relationship come new ways. We ask everyone to remember that Warehouse=
=20

23 is an established company, with policies in force well before our=20 agreement with Steve Jackson Games. In particular, we would like everyone=20 to keep the following things in mind:

  1. Warehouse 23 generally will only accept pre-orders for a book once it is=
    =20
    at a printer.
  2. Pre-orders have no absolute shipping date. Although a book may have an=20 advertised release date, Warehouse 23 has no control over when the book=20 actually ships.
  3. Warehouse 23 will not hold items, and they do not ship partial orders.=20 If you order several items at once, and one of them is an item that is out=
    =20
of stock or on pre-order, Warehouse 23 will wait to process the entire=20 order until the pre-ordered or out of stock item is available. During this=
    =20
time, other items on the order might become unavailable, and the W23 staff=
    =20
might not be aware of the need to inform you of this immediately. If you=20 want to pre-order a book, or order a book that is out of stock, Warehouse=20 23 and Issaries STRONGLY urge you to place it on a separate order from any=

ANOTHER PARTNERSHIP: THE MEN IN BLACK
The Men In Black (MIB) are looking for a few good narrators. As the=20 official volunteer representatives for HeroQuest (and the entire Issaries'=

and Steve Jackson Games' product lines), the Men In Black provide a=20 world-class welcome to the world of Glorantha for the uninformed and=20 confused masses. If you're interested in spreading the word on Glorantha=20 and HeroQuest, read <www.sjgames.com/mib/mibjoin.html> for further=20 instructions. Earn rewards for yourself while bringing HeroQuest, GURPS,=20 Munchkin, and other games to new players. (This paragraph will NOT self=20 destruct, but we did remove the subliminals as they took effect.) Fnord.

PARTING SHOT
Time moves on, but Glorantha remains a delight. I just got some King of=20 Dragon Pass artwork framed, and the Angry Cattle now stare down on my=20 workspace. As I read the many names in the HeroQuest acknowledgements, I=20 see how the people of the White Bear and Red Moon have grown. Thank you all.
