Hi All,

I agree with Greg whole heartedly, Glorantha is a fun environment and players should be allowed to have fun with it. During playtesting by Mark Galeotti and myself we played a lot with characters, we had Issaries Goose fanatics whole could kill with a honk, we had Yinkini love machines, vast arrays of bizarre animal and human followers, Goonda characters, Wooly Rhino Rhino Opera singing Vadrudi, Raj inspired Carmanian Sorcerors, Aeolian Choir Singing, grain flail weilding liturgists, one armed great trolls who bred maggots as friends, a famous mace called Spaniel Spanker, Lady Jezra of Rone's dark secret about what REALLY went on with the Tusk Riders and a lot more....yet Mark and I both write seriously about Glorantha. We game once a week to have fun, I could correct my players ideas, but when they are all smiling and having fun, and more importantly keep coming back (and bringing their friends) then I think I am getting things right. Initially I played Glorantha in a rigid, anally retentive manner, and basically my rpg group dwindled down to 2, now I play HQ in a relax manner, driven by the players and my group has 7 players.

Cheers Simon Bray
