The first book about the West is planned for later this year, and is

essentially up-to-date). One should, of course, bear in mind that
'planned' and 'definitely going to happen' are not even remotely the
same thing at this stage in the publication process :)

Heroes of Malkion will deal with Malkioni cultures, touching only very
briefly on the other human cultures of the West (such as the Rathori),
and even less so on non-humans such as grotarons. This is for
essentially the same reason that Thunder Rebels, for instance, didn't
describe the Telmori, even though they're part of Sartar. And the West
is a lot bigger and more culturally diverse than Sartar! That's not to
say that grotarons will never be described in more detail, of course...
but it ain't happening any time soon AFAIK. Which means you can probably
make up what you like without fear of being contradicted.
