The myth of Orlanth wielding Humakt is an Orlanthi myth, not a Humakti myth so it's not realy their problem. Orlanth is the actor in this myth, while Humakt is a neutral party from the point of view of intent. Sure if you were to change the myth so that Humakt made choices and took an active role in the myth that would be a major change, but I don't think anyone has suggested such a thing.

Many Humakti already take precisely this view, which is why Humakt is such a popular god for mercenaries. He's even worshiped by some Chaotics.
