No, all practitioners have the ability to use fetishes. Perhaps you were thinking of fetches?

Of the entities under discussion Thed and Mallia were already shamanistic under RQIII. Only Bagog seems to have changed from theist to animist (assuming she has,of course).

IMO chaos should corrupt something that is already there instead of adding something new. Adding yet another magic system at this point would only cause unneccessary confusion.

Two more advantages
1. A theist has to give up his common magic feats upon becoming a devotee, but an animist does not have to give up his common magic charms even upon becoming a shaman.(granted wizardry has the same advantage.)
2. Shamans are not limited to learning one magical Secret
