Personally I find the triple Death Rune Row looking real neat.

Light Castle's point about aspect difference sounds solid. Carmanian Humakt, Battle and Death core affinities (Death).

...and my vote goes for there being a subcult that has a Combat with a Death rune for those guys who don't care what is enough.
