Brithini cavalry

Two points here:

Anaxial's Roster does mention horses (and stirrups) in Danmalastan and I believe the Old Republic of Zerendel (the apex of western culture in mythical times) did have equestrian regiments that were part of the warrior caste. But in that time, their army was probably had other exotic regiments like the Fliers.

The Brithini of Arolanit only has infantry because that's what they had left after the great darkness. There's nothing to prevent the Brithini from outfitting an equestrian regiment save that mounted warriors are now associated with the renegade Hrestol who is worse than icky-poo in Brithini eyes.
