On the subject of warrior clerics, there is the sterling example of Pope Julius II who fought in battles and wanted to be depicted in a statue by Michelangelo with a sword rather than a book (the statue was built with a set of keys instead and destroyed in Julius's lifetime by revolting Bolognese).

I suppose Rokari clergy could go around with swords but they would be wiser to get an ecclesiastical indulgence first (Something like "this indulgence permits the bearer, XXXX, to wield a sword and shed blood without fear of caste crime.

	Love and kisses
		Pope Theoblanc the Good").
