And you missed out one of my favourites. The payment for killing a cat that's supposed to keep rats and mice out of a granary. Hold said cat (body thereof) by the tip of the tail, with the nose just touching the ground. Pour over enough grain that the entire cat is covered.

This seems to me to be biased against Manx cats, and I suspect the Orlanthi might value their alynxes rather higher, but the idea is one of those classics.
