So how would a Finn pronounce it? Roughly? Or rather, in your experience of English-speakers attaenmpting to pronounce Finnish, what noises would we make that approximated to it?

After all, the whole point of the joke is that this is the name given to an object or place by an Explorer who’s just asked a native what *that* is (pointing). They won't get a written reply.
