How strictly the biological requirements are applied to Ernaldans is not very clear.

On one hand Strom Tribe says "a woman cannot choose to ignore this progression, except through normal channels. ... this means joining another cult." (page 19)

On the other hand Barbarian Adventures has at least one Ernaldan healer who is described as a mother (Serarernalda page 64).

Wouldn't it be just as interesting for the warriors to figure out how to care for the child with their totally inappropriate skills and magic?
