Thanks!

At one time or another my group has gamed in Pavis, Dorastor, and Carmania. Oh, and that Dragon Pass place. ;) I plan to eventually run games in Arrolia, the Holy Country, the Oceans, and somewhere in Pamaltela. <whew!> My guess is that most non-DP games are set in either Prax (including Pavis, etc) or somewhere in the Lunar Empire, now that ILH-1 has been out for a while. Men of the Sea opened up a lot of new HeroQuest territory also, so anything is possible - which is a good thing. Unspoken Word, Tradetalk, and Tales of the Reaching Moon also published some great location work, although I am guessing that their print runs were not as large and much of it is now out of print. There have never been more setting options in Glorantha than there are today!

My request wasn't so much for help on specific regions but rather for a broad overview, with a few of the more important or dramatic events/effects mentioned to give the narrator a better feel for what is going on.

Thanks again! I only mentioned the Lunars because the Reaching Moon disaster (Dragonrise) affects them so immediately and dramatically. I would be *very* interested to know more about what Dragonrise means to entirely different cultures in different lands. It is just a 'want' though, not a 'need'. I understand that you have a page count limit to deal with, and that isn't always an easy thing to do.

Agreed, although I can't wait to see what you folks come up with. :)
