Depends a bit on which RW cultures you're thinking of, and in what era. They might include:

red vegetable dyes:
- madder (Rubia tinctorium)
- lady's bedstraw (Galium verum)

red insect dyes:
- kermes
- cochineal

red mineral dyes:
- red earths, as mentioned above
- vermilion/cinnabar.

In my now-ended HQ game, part of the dowry of one of the characters was the knowledge of dyeing cloths red.
