"In Glorantha - as I can only answer these questions from that perspective - many cultures (including the Orlanthi) say sex is anatomical, gender is social role. So sex would be male, female, neither, both. Gender would be male roles, female roles, males in female roles, females in male roles, neither role, both roles. All are acknowledged, all have recognized positions in Orlanthi society."
