Why not? I'm happy to answer questions about sources, and reprint the
relevant parts. Why not try it some time?

How about the Lunar Examiners? (!)

This is why I've followed Nick Brooke's advice, and inside the Glowline,
the moon doesn't look full. It is surrounded by a crimson corona, much the
same way the Empire is surrounded by the Glowline. (The Glowline counts as
full moon for spell casting, but doesn't prevent the Lunar faithful from
seeing the phases.)

Alas, it looks like this won't be official (RQ: Adventures in Glorantha is
currently saying that the moon is full inside).

I derived the Movement rune in part from "Kargzant was a being who was
never happy in one place," and from the reference to the "Wandering Sun."
Also, this makes Yu-Kargzant runicly different from Yelm.

Actually, I think he was chained by Hyalor, but that's speculation. He
still moved in the sky after being chained.

Unfortunately, The Glorious ReAscent of Yelm is a Dara Happan document; we
need a Pentan story to know more about the nomads.

I twitched on some of the material in RQD today. Can you pass it on?
Sorry I didn't jot the questions or askers, etiher.
but:
Priest of cults have *friendly* spirits which do not function within the
"normal RQ" rules. They can only operate on temple/sacred ground, of course,
so all cult battle magic is learned in the temples (or in Holy time.)

REgarding the changing moon inside the glowline:
I regret this statement, and may change it. It began as a game convention for
WB&RM, and was carried over directly into RQ. But when I visualize the moon
inside the Glowline, I see it in phases. It is a little weird from directly
or near-directly below, of course.
The most popular theory right now is that a Darkness Sun rotates around the
crimson orb, casing a shadow upon it. I think this is true, myself.

Not for Publication: Henke, please send me whatever comments are generated by
the moon comments, if possible.
Also, anything whatever is generated by Glorious ReAscent. (yours is coming.)

My wrists are still in bad shape, and I have to keep everything very short.

Nils K. Hammer suggests a way to kill the Crimson Bat.

> Have allies you don't care for very much flee into the cave.
 >When the Bat follows, collapse the entrance. (use dwarves?)

Excuse me? That will never work because we now know of your treachery.

Besides, what self respecting clan of dwarves would hang out in the daylight
waiting for a giant pigeon with wings.

Unless you meant that the "cave" would be previously fitted by the dwarven
clans to permit escape and after the collapse of the cave, would render the
bat to death. I'm sure that's what you meant.

I would almost certainly go to RQ-Con Australia. Bravo for the ideas,
I hope you get enough responses. I can only think of one or two other Perht
people who might go - but there are probably several that I do not know about.

ANY, at this stage

Hmm.. probably make my own arrangements - I owuld prefer to stay at a Con
venue, but I suspect that the cost could be fairly high.

You betcha! I am fairly involved with the rather small freeform community
in Perth - and I am abviously a RQ fanatic.

Yes, no. I would go just for the RQ - but I would like to see Call of Cthulhu
and other Chaosium games, of course. I particularly approve of CoC and Credo!
as good con games, and Call of Cthulhu might well get some extra crowds in.
Maybe Sandy could be enticed down? Or maybe not.

Apart from the ones you mentioned? Well, a HeroQuest playtest, of course :-)
Another Gloranthan Lore auction.

Something about running a truely society based campaign - one were years
pass quickly, and PCs are leaders of society. Just a thought.

Give me a few days and I will think of some. I am fairly involved with
the SF Con community over here, so I should be able to think of something.

PS I gather you could not find another Griselda book, and I must order one
from David Gadbois?
Also, who is colating the next Tales - I have some Praxian magic items
for them.
